News Archive and Closed Casinos
This is our archive of older news, seasonal promotions and casinos that have since closed. We keep these pages for reference and completeness — we don't delete our history — but the offers are no longer available, and where a casino has shut down we say so clearly. For current options, see our no-deposit bonus hub and top tested casinos.
Closed casinos
- Casino Cruise — closed (Genesis Global): the casino and its sister brands were wound up after their operator's Malta licence was cancelled. Our case study explains what happened and what it means for licensing.
- Golden Riviera Casino — closed: a Microgaming-era casino that has since shut down; its 2015 news page is kept as an archive.
- SlotsMagic — no longer recommended: our historical review, kept for reference; we no longer point readers to this brand.
Casinos we no longer recommend
These casinos are not necessarily closed, but we no longer work with them and do not point readers to them.
- Raging Bull — not recommended: an offshore RealTime Gaming casino, now linked to the Virtual Casino Group, that is blacklisted across the industry for slow and denied withdrawals and a low safety rating. We do not endorse or link to it — see our review for the full picture.
- Malibu Club — no longer recommended: an older RealTime Gaming casino we no longer work with. Our Leonardo's Loot slot page points players to casinos we test and rate instead.
Archived news & seasonal offers
These older promotions and news items are out of date, but preserved for completeness:
- Casino Cruise — Spring Surprise (2015 promotion)
- Casino Cruise — February Free Spins Calendar (2015 promotion)
- Golden Riviera — New Games (May 2015)
- Three New Rival Mobile Casino Games (2015)
Why we keep archived pages
Transparency matters on a site about real money. Rather than quietly deleting old pages, we keep them, mark closed casinos clearly, and remove any live links to operators that have shut down. You can read more about our standards in how we review.
